PRETTY FLOWER ASSIGNMENT! BEAUTIFUL TYLER KLASE

1) The flower's Ophelia holds are imaginary. At this point she is a very frazzled and confused girl, having been split in many different directions by the people and feelings in her life. She is going, for less of a better word, crazy.

2) Yes, each person's flower represents her emotions toward that person.
3) I see King Claudius recieving the fennel because he married his brothers wife so quickly after his brothers death.  I see Queen Gertrude recieving the daisy because she had forsaken her love for King Hamlet and married his brother Claudius so sortly after his death.  I believe Laertes recieved the rosemary as a symbol for his to remember his father and herself as before death and grief had wiped it all away.  I think if Horatio recieved a flower it would be a violet because he was such an honorable man and a faithful friend.

4) Ophelia keeps some rue for herself as she is in sorrow because of her father's death and Hamlet's madness.

5) I think Ophelia does give away a Daisy. Giving Gertrude a Daisy and Violets makes a lot of sense and pertains to what Gertrude has done.
6) We believe he receives the pansies because she knows him as Hamlet's friend and knows he is a pensive, thoughtful man.
